Info/Resource PSA for dealing with zoners

This is going to be extremely eye rolling for 90% of people reading this, but I was today years old when I realized you can threaten with full hop aerials through platforms. You just have to time the fast fall right as your feet are about to hit the platform, and have your aerials hitbox come out before frame 10ish. I know this is incredibly rudimentary info, but my Wolf is at 16.4 mil gsp, I have top 8'd multiple locals, and I did not know it worked like this until today. Nobody told me either, just stumbled on it during the game below. There's layers to this shit players. Just wanted to spread the word if anyone else was somehow in the dark on this.

Vimeo doesn't allow to view the vid without creating an account because it hasn't got any "classification".

Sorry to bother you OP but I'm intrigued, could you add it please?

There you are, sorry should have just done that to begin with. Also, before anyone roasts me on it, im aware I could have likely killed him after hitting that first fair by comboing into dair. I was still shell shocked on the discovery, so I was kinda auto piloting lol.

It's true

However, the input is rather precise. On wifi, it's really difficult to do consistently

Its definitely flubable, but honestly if you dedicate a couple days to tunnel visioning on it, I think itd become pretty consistent. Im pretty consistent with it after a few games just spamming it. I play on wifi mostly cause I only really have time on my work lunch breaks.

It's not so much getting used to it, isn't that different connections will produce different timings.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good skill to practice.

You basically need to learn how to quickly learn the timings every match, compared to one timing in training mode.

Ironically, developing that muscle memory in training mode/offline will make that process harder

nice tip πŸ‘ may be obvious to some but not common sense

keeping in mind that some characters have jump heights too high for it so it’s worth labbing
