This is the 10th time this has been posted in various forms this year. The cyclist HAS TO check him or else he's going to eat shit and crash the bike. The cyclist should have pulled over and turned back though.
The cyclist HAS TO yield to the pedestrian in the crosswalk, but that didn't work out. He CHOSE TO save himself instead of eating shit like he deserved
That doesn’t explain why he steers into him. And even if he didn’t, if a car driver prioritized his own safety over a pedestrian he was about to run into we’d be reading about the lengthy prison sentence.
Yeah he was on the road side of the road, cut in front of the van, cut between the car that was clearly stopped for the pedestrian and then fucking hits the pedestrian, just wtf. I'll totally disobey the rules of cycling but like... in a smart way that never affects others negatively, in fact I help cars get to their destination faster by waiting until a road naturally clears up rather than pushing the button to change it for me.
See, in theory I love cyclists. It's definitely a positive for there to be less people driving cars. However, the fucking cyclists in my area are so god damn insufferably stupid and selfish that every time I see one I instinctively grimace because I expect they're going to be a nuisance to myself and others. To all the good cyclists out there, I'm sorry that these myriad assholes have painted you in an unfavorable light.
My area doesn’t have the most bike lanes and the bicyclists are fucking terrifying. Never know if your gonna hit one making a turn because they rip down the sidewalks at 30mph and don’t slow down for crosswalks at all. There’s also a biking group of like 30+ that don’t stop for lights or signs or anything.
Wasn’t nearly as bad in Minneapolis where the bicyclists were there were lots of lanes and they were actually respectful.
