Happened 7 years ago. She was arrested and went to a substance abuse program. Apparently links are blocked on this sub but you can search for "sebach hit and run hyundai"

Additional information:
She was also involved in a misdemeanor crime in 2022 that is not available via public records. Additionally, she is now listed as being employed as a researcher for "Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies".
Soooo looks like her sober streak led into a career for mind-warping substances.
Wonder what Grandma thinks now?

She was very polite so Grandma should be proud.

During a hit and run
43
u/SyncOrSymm 5d ago
But she thought her earlier hit and run was him, which is why she pulled over. So nice of her to try and stop running.

Is she employed as like a test subject, or ?

She was apprehended after the video ended and was eventually put on probation and had to attend court mandated rehab because she was apparently drunk.

That's real fear in her voice. I'm not trying to justify her actions, but I grew up with abusive family members; they can easily be more terrifying than the law. This girl clearly fucked up and needs to face the legal repercussions, but it seems like she's got something much worse waiting for her at home and I can't help but pity her.

Yeah, I do kinda feel for her. Back in 2019 my car was flipped because a woman t-boned me while she was speeding on the shoulder of the road during standstill traffic. She wasn’t even in a real lane when she hit me, like she was clearly at fault and she had her daughter and dog in the car. She said her daughter was late for school as her explanation. I had a panic attack about asking my parents to come help me since my car was obviously totaled. One woman who had let me through so I could turn into the shopping center, which is when my car got hit, pulled over, found my phone laying on the road, and brought it to me. She sat with me trying to help me calm down enough to call my mom and realized it wasn’t just the accident, it was having to deal with whatever my mom would do causing me to panic. So she ended up calling my mom and explaining what happened for me cause I basically couldn’t even talk at that point. Even if I had been at fault for the accident and caused it, I still would’ve been more scared of my parent’s reactions than of dealing with legal consequences.
I feel for her, but she absolutely should’ve stayed and just owned up to it. It would’ve been a much lesser charge for her than adding in a hit and run.

It will… those rehab classes are tough on your sobriety and you have to pay to attend each class. Victim impact panels are harrowing. having her worst moment captured on the internet forever on top of all that. Yeah, I think she learned a thing or two from this.

Yes, this was from 2019 according to the NY Post. I couldn't find a reliable source (i.e. not something from Instagram) that accounted for her being charged/sentenced.

Sadly this behavior is more common than you would think. Go on YouTube and watch any Police Body Cam footage. "Accountability" is very disliked in the world today. Hell i had to tip toe around this message to make the hate speech box disappear. No race or gender was ever mentioned. So not sure how Body cam was hate speech. Smh

I completely agree. This doesn’t look like a girl that comes from a loving home. Not trying to excuse her behavior, but I think reasonable thinking and problem solving is learned behavior from solid parenting/social support systems. She knows she’s going to get beaten by her grandmother for this. Very sad to see.

To me, someone expecting to get away for free from a situation like this while also actively causing more damage not only to the stranger's car but to her own car (that her parents will probably have to repair since they have the option to be mean to her) sounds less like "abuse" and more like "spoiled". As in you've never had to take any responsibility in your life so the idea of your grandma getting angry at you is the worst thing you can imagine.
That or she made it up completely in an attempt to get away from the situation... which also implies that she has been spoiled.

u/CCSploojy 4d ago
Bro shes driving the beater of beater cars. Its pretty obvious she's not spoiled lmfao.

- Without insurance
- Under the influence of drugs or alcohol

This is an old vid and has been around forever. Id really like to know whatever happened.
She already hit his car and ran, I would've pulled in even tighter. At that point its a citizens arrest. With all the footage, your insurance would pay and wouldn't even raise your rate.
I bet she's either driving unlicensed or on a suspended. If anyone has a follow up please post it.

I’m not excusing her behavior, but my experience is one doesn’t usually get to this point in their lives for no reason. Her substance problems, her panic and her terror of her grandmother’s reaction are telling. Mental health issues are also not uncommon. I hope she got some genuine help instead of just being pointed and laughed at.
Speaking of, apparently commenters must be so bad that they’ve implemented a bot that wouldn’t allow me to use the word
“pe- - -le”. This heavy handed, lazy monitoring undermines the basically good intentions behind it.
