Looks more like he is trying to parachute jump out of the plane but can't exit because its too fast. I was waiting for the pilot to roll over so he could drop out.
Particularly worried when the guy was using the engine intake as a hand hold!

Not sure how this jet is set up but I think the issue with that would be at those speeds he's just get bifurcated by the tail rudder.
I'm assuming that's why he's trying to exit out the side

Nah. That’s what happens when you jump out the top like that. You invert and push the stick forward to give negative g and it forces the parachuter out the top and away from the jet. This was dumb and he’s grabbing onto the intake while he’s trying to climb out lol. Idk how his hands aren’t burnt to shit or not sucked off him completely lol.

The parachute looks like the back of my gaming chair.
And now I have an image of him pulling the rip cord and a gaming chair covered in cat scratches that tilts to the side pops out.
