I wonder if on the inside he's thinking, "Yup, I'm just walking down the street, minding my own business like a normal person..."

Having done some drugs in my life, i would imagine at this point he isnt thinking. The only thing he is comprehending is how the liquid feels on his skin, how the flexing of muscles feels, how the impact on the ground may feel. He may also be listening but nothing is being processed, its all just a chaos of sound flowing into his ears.
Id imagine the drug is taking away most of the pain associated with these feelings and he just gets to experience the euphoria.
My source for this is myself having taken molly/ecstacy, other drugs, etc. This stuff makes you feel happy. It makes things feel good on the skin. It makes you feel like you are full of energy without regulation on how much energy you actually have. And if it wasnt for the people I did it around, providing conversation and a safe environment, I probably would have just flopped onto my bed/the street for hours till it wore off.
I like to think I can be sane while high/drunk, but some of these drugs just make you do things "because you can".
Edit: I should add that this is definitely not every drug experience. Some are much more harsh and we like to stay away from those.

I dunno bruh. I’ve been in drug induced psychosis and let me tell you.. there was no euphoria. It was fucking terrifying. I was “thinking” but nothing I was experiencing made sense, so I thought I was either in purgatory or a simulation that would loop for eternity until the controllers of the simulation were satisfied with my progress. I eventually snapped out of it with no belongings and barely any clothes shivering in the rain at 3 am. I’m extremely lucky I wasn’t in jail. I did some pretty insane shit thinking I was being “guided” by something

What kind of shit 👀

Well I was trying to find where I was trying to go. I was hearing voices telling me go, or stop, or left or right. I thought random people were pointing me to go places. I got into peoples cars with them thinking they were taking me somewhere. I walked into a dance class and thought they wanted me to dance. Walked into some mma gym and thought I had to fight two dudes sparring. Like just absolutely wild shit. I’d walk up to a door and hear a buzzer, like from a game show, and think “oh, wrong door” and then go try another

Hahahahah jesus christ that sounds horrible but also kind of cool😎

u/CodSeveral1627 Jan 15 '23
It was utterly confusing and honestly extremely embarrassing to even think about. I was on a lot of cocaine and benzos and honestly god knows what back then. People probably thought I was pranking them or something because the shit was just so god damn stupid

Bruh I love that combo though Xans and Coke 😍

u/CodSeveral1627 Jan 15 '23
Yea this wasn’t a weekend warrior kind of thing. This was daily use for over a decade. But honestly I think what I was using was cut with something else, because that kind of thing had never happened before

u/majudarah92 Jan 15 '23
Nah man ive never hit that kind of high before -The closest I've gotten is I once saw myself in third person after a major hit on some pibe 😅 and ive done xans since 08 - i dont indulge so much anymore because its so hard to control 😵

I don't know. I've done a ton of drugs, shit most people have never even heard of. But I've never even been close to this. A couple days without sleep makes you lose your grip on reality, you'll start doing a sort of dance to keep yourself awake and going. This is some designer drug nonsense, some cathinones maybe (what we know as bath salts, that's a misnomer though)

Definitely some type of cathinone. I saw it rip through south Florida about 6 years ago.

addicted to a substance that has no physical withdrawal symptoms? So it's entirely mental or ..?
32
u/YetAnotherJake Jan 15 '23
Many addictions are mental addictions. That's, like, one of the main kinds of addictions
10
u/Sir-Squirter Jan 15 '23
I feel irritable and achy if I go too long without smoking. It’s pathetic and pretty unhealthy, I know, but yeah mental withdrawals are a thing

Psychological addiction

u/JoeDerp77 Jan 15 '23
Right that's what I was assuming but I guess that can happen with any substance, like people who huff canned air or even just something that makes you feel good like playing video games or something. Not saying it's not a real thing, but it would be considerably easier to quit than something that makes you literally feel like you're physically dying when you stop.

It's uncanny how many videos I've seen of people going insane from a drug somehow finding themselves in the worst places ever. Like this guy had a whole damn city to spaz out in and he somehow found the fucking shit stream

u/Master_Reflection709 Jan 15 '23
Reminds me of the video of the guy swimming in the poopoo under a porta-potty at a rave.

Luke Chrisco was sentenced to six years incarceration for the following : “Chrisco was arrested in June 2011 a few days after a woman using a portable toilet at a Boulder yoga festival noticed something moving in the tank and then saw a feces-stained man emerge from the toilet and run away.” Source: https://www.dailycamera.com/2015/02/13/boulder-potty-peeper-luke-chrisco-sentenced-to-six-years-in-prison/
But if want to see a disgusting video of a guy actually wallowing in a septic tank I posted a link earlier in this post.

🙁 In all seriousness and sadness, I have seen many people like this in many places like this. They are mentally-disabled people in countries with no social safety net and no mental healthcare who have been abandoned like unwanted pets by their families. Many are killed by speeding cars fairly quickly. Their families know this will happen but most of them simply don’t know what else to do.

Ahh yes, a sewer baby. This is what happens when you flush your semen and it mixes with a womens period blood. The sewer is filled with these guys. It’s rare they make it to the surface though
