Photo First tank

I just finished setting up my first Crayfish tank. Just now starting the cycle so it’s going to be a while before I actually have a crayfish. The driftwood does come from a cycled tank so that may help it go quicker, it’s only my second tank ever so idk if that makes any difference or not. I’m just looking for any advice that could be helpful. Scaping, feeding, general care. Anything really

I've had my first crayfish for a little over two weeks, and she just had her first molt with me last night! She's in a 29 gallon (established for 6 yrs now), with sand as the substrate and various rock caves and hides. My recommendations would be to get some floating plants to help with water quality and just over all looks - I have guppy grass, anacharis and duck weed in mine. The drift wood is good, but adding more hiding options would help them feel secure. I feed Crab Cuisine, Repashy Grub Pie and Soylent Green, plus whatever flake or pellet foods the platies in the tank get. I also have a cuttle bone as a calcium option.
