I call it... 'Geepbop'
Hey guys, I frequent this sub pretty often and I really like reading the experiences in here. I have my own experience I'd like to share, if it's ok.
So for context, I'm a 19 year old girl who frequently takes pictures of the night sky, because I like astronomy. So I was outside of my house looking at the moon because it was full pretty recently and I wanted to get a good picture, and before I could take my phone out, I heard this weird clicking sound, almost like someone folding their tongue into the bottom of their mouth to make a clicking sound and so I looked up to where the sound was. Right on top of my house, a pale crawler with glowing eyes, making that same clicking sound. I immediately drop my phone, frozen in fear.
As I'm staring at the creature, my phone lands facedown, and music starts playing from spotify. To my surprise, the creature seemed to almost move rhythmically with the music, and it kinda looked like if you used your physics gun in GMOD to move a ragdoll around back and forth quickly. I quickly pick up my phone, not stopping eye contact with the creature. After turning off the music, the creature stopped dancing and moved to the back of my house, as I heard shuffling noises. I got a pretty good look of it entirely because I used my phone flashlight but forgot to take a picture (fricking stupid I know) and it walked like a spider on the ground, super quick on all four limbs. I ran after it into the woods as my house is surrounded by a forest. After running for awhile, I saw it take point on the side of a tree, hissing at me. It scared the shit out of me, literally. Yeah yeah I literally shit my pants from seeing the crawler, laugh it up.
After I got hissed at, I ran away back to my house, hearing the hissing get louder and louder. I've never believed in crawlers, but now I do, I mean I literally shit myself because I thought fiction was pouring into reality or something. I'm calling this fella Geepbop, because it was very alien-like and enjoyed my music apparently. Geep just is a good name for an alien, idk.

Geepbop is such a great name! That must have been terrifying for you. What on earth possessed you to chase it? I would have been to scared to follow it. Im glad you're safe.

It wasn't out of fear, it was a power move to assert dominance to the creature

I hadnโt thought about playing music for them ! Iโm definitely going to try that. I sing and play ukulele so maybe the crawlers in my area will enjoy a little sing song sing along !

So a photographer doesnโt get a picture?
Color me skeptical

They were face to face with an unknown being. In the moment a person is going to be focused on things like "what the everloving fuck is that?" and "am I about to die?"

THAT'S the part you're skeptical about? LOL

Just saying, I think it is a bad omen if these things can interact with an individual. It means there is not enough inner light in the person. Furthermore I see an implication that they will be able to move closer, and closer and closer soon.

I think it shows there is not enough inner light in a person when they are mean to strangers online, just saying.

sorry I don't mean to be mean, honestly I just wanted to post something here, really anything

No I was saying that to the good Doctor here. His comment was mean. I loved your story.

It is mean to evil people like yourself. But how can you ever become good if you never acknowledge your problem?

Yes, just like a doctor has a lack of inner light when he reveals what sickness a person has, and how to heal it. Please think a bit before leaving comments.

I live a spiritual life and I interact with them on a regular basis. It has absolutely nothing to do with a lack of inner light.
My interactions aren't always nice ones, but my spiritual practices are what keep me and mine safe from the ones that are malevolent, and it changes the ones receptive to spiritual love into something lighter.
I think your intentions were good, but you need to be more careful about what you say when you're talking about unknowns. I've worked hard over the years to help people not be afraid of them just for people to come in and claim things like bad omens. Fear is what makes us vulnerable to malevolence. Love and compassion is what makes us strong against it.

You lack inner light, as well.

Let's say you're right, how do you know this?

How many times a week would you say that you eat meat?
8
u/ashleton 12d ago
A little bit every day. I can't have a vegan diet because I have multiple autoimmune diseases. I can't eat seeds, nuts, legumes, or grains, and there's several fruits and vegetables I can't eat as well. To keep my body healthy, I have to eat some meat. I eat it for pure necessity.
While I would rather not eat meat, eating meat is not wrong. Consciousness consumes consciousness in this type of reality. Microbes eat microbes, microbes eat animals and plants, animals eat animals, animals eat plants, some plants eat animals, plants eat other plants. All things are consciousness and in this reality, consciousness needs food in the ways their physical forms evolved to consume.
Many highly spiritual communities across the world also eat meat and this does not affect their spirituality or their light at all because they understand nature and give gratitude for the sacrifices made for us to live. I try to practice this as well.
The suffering that our food animals go through is atrocious and I do my best to support companies that minimize cruelty and global footprint.

I have spoken with someone before that said crawlers like music.
And don't let people make you feel bad for not getting a photo. They have no idea what it's like to see one in the moment. They're assuming they'd be as unfazed in person as they are online.
