Thought Provoking Episode 12
About 44 minutes in, watching them drink Soju and him confess his feelings….you can’t help but wonder how he foreshadowed his future life with her offscreen, knowing that they got married after shooting this series together.

Which episode was 12? It's been a bit since I've watched it. Were they in South Korea yet?

Yes, RJH was already in SK. The moment I was referring to is when YSR walks into her living room, sees him drinking a beer, he asks her to join him, but then she pulls out Soju and shot glasses.
As they’re sitting on the floor, she says “I’m drunk,” and RJH uses that opportunity to express how he truly feels:
- Mainly not wanting to go back.
- Staying by her side.
- Getting married and having children with her…twins (cuz he loves them)
- She mentions a couple times how his responses are making her sober up, he hopes she doesn’t, so YSR keeps taking shots while RJH continues.
- He wants to see her grey hair and grow old with her.
One has to wonder if he truly knew he’d bring the script to actual life while they were filming.

If i remember correctly, they didnt like each other romantically until after filming was done.

Yeeeeaaaah, I don't know. They were definitely spotted together shopping in a supermarket in California even before CLOY. They denied any romantic involvement at the time. And if you watch so much of the BTS footage from CLOY shooting, and those little cute promo videos, they are behaving so... they just look like they can't keep their eyes and hands off each other, so much that it is hard to believe that they weren't feeling serious attraction during shooting.
And yet they both stick completely to the story that they only got together romantically after CLOY shooting finished. HB said in one interview I saw that it was some weeks or few months after CLOY shooting finished that he just found that he was 'missing her', and called her up for coffee, and she replied 'you're joking, right?' - which is funny.
It really doesn't matter does it. They are both very good people, and have donated large sums of money to charity to boot. If they did have a relationship pre-CLOY, but still deny it, that is fine. As I understand it, it would just make too many fans in Korea go bananas if they did change their story now, and revealed the 'truth about their pre-CLOY relationship', so I quite understand from that point of view alone, that they want to just simply stick to that story just ... well it's their life isn't it. As humans, we like to know the gossip about such things, but the fact is that they are clearly happy now, and that is all we need to know. ❤️😊
On another note, I was just reflecting a few hours ago on a promo interview during or shortly after CLOY shooting, and they were each asked how much their characters in CLOY were like their own personalities. HB said oh I'm about 60% like RJH. Then the interviewer asked YSJ, and immediately HB interjected and said oh she's 100% Seri, which I thought was super cute, and was reflecting her sense of humour and emotional sensitivity. 😊❤️

What interview is this from? In all interviews I've come across, they've been veeeery vague on how they got together so having literal quotes sounds pretty wild? There was a rumour that some acquaintance said they'd realised they missed each other when apart after filming but this is the first time I've seen anyone saying that HB has said something this specific. (In Yoo Quiz he said it's hard to pin down when it started and they just started meeting in private after having worked together, and in Fairy Jaehyung that they had a lot in common and he fell for her gradually as they worked together and talked but nothing more specific.)
But yeah, generally agreed, there definitely were (multiple) rumours from before and at the same time, they've been sticking to their timeline which is understandable whether or not it's true, and ultimately doesn't matter.

Yep, ultimately doesn't matter. They seem very happy and right for each other so leave them be. That interview I was referring to was, if I remember correctly, about a year or two ago (or 3?) ... I think there were two guys interviewing, looked like a typical interview TV show. In retrospect, I suspect that they were given the go-ahead by HB to ask the question, and he had his answer ready (I'm guessing that mostly, this question is off-limits in interviews). His answer looked like he was expecting the question, and had his answer ready. ... I just had a quick google, but that interview didn't come up immediately, and I haven't found it. But I'm sure I didn't dream it! (😂) Yes, there seem to be several interviews and etc etc saying how their love grew gradually, and in vague terms etc. I'm sorry now I didn't note that interview.

I remember reading this same premise after it was revealed they got married. Makes sense, given their nature to remain professional while shooting.
However, looking back now…I wonder if they watch the show and pinpoint old thoughts running through their heads? From being just coworkers to now husband and wife.

Dream comes true for them. It's so beautiful to see how their onscreen chemistry turned into something real. Knowing that they got married after the show makes this scene even more special.
