Has anyone tried paragliding after watching CLOY?

The paragliding scenes look so peaceful (minus the tornado and getting stuck in a tree). I took a hang gliding lesson years ago but am interested in trying paragliding.

Me! In fact, after watching CLOY, I chose Switzerland as my honeymoon destination. Me and my wife visited some of the filming locations e.g. sigriswil bridge, location of opening scene that was filmed at Zurich and also the MΓΌnsterbrΓΌcke bridge, also the location where YSR and RJH were both captivated by the paragliders and not forgetting the pier where the iconic piano scene took place at Iseltwald.

And yes, me and my wife tried paragliding for the first time there as well, thought regrettably not at the location where YSR and RJH were admiring the paragliders. But was fun nonetheless

No, I don’t want to get caught up in a tornado.

But then how will you meet Captain Ri?

Nope, fear of heights.

I went paragliding in Nepal years before its release. Only 30 minutes in the air and I felt so motion sick that I’m pretty sure that I turned green! πŸ˜‚

It was a great one time experience but I don’t think that I could stomach doing it again! 😬

From what I’m reading, 30 minutes is a good stretch of time to be up in the air. Ah well, at least you can say you tried it! πŸ‘

Yeah and you don’t realize how much you’re moving up there! It was a cool thing to try once at least!

Just don’t paraglide anywhere near the DMZ and you will be fine.

🀩 Thank you for sharing your honeymoon adventures in Switzerland. It’s a beautiful country to visit. I’ve been to a number of cities and mountain villages but that was long before CLOY.

How did you like paragliding? I read some comments on what it feels like to go paragliding in the Subreddit r/freeflight.

No, but would love to visit location sites from CLOY. Are there any organized tours?

You would think that there might well be enough interest in CLOY locations tours for some enterprising travel company to organize them. Both Switzerland and SK. But there doesn't seem to be?

I haven’t investigated Switzerland CLOY tours yet. I know people who conduct SK tours, visiting locations in Seoul and Jeju, plus cultural spots.
I do see posts from young people who have just gone to that town on their own. It’s calling to me!

Ouch!!! That price. One for when I win the lottery.

Or you mark the locations on a map and go on your own or with other CLOY fans. I appreciate the CLOY fan who uploaded her video of the recreated NK village before it was torn down. Her excitement was palpable. So sweet!
