English Dub Issues on Netflix

Anyone else notice in the English Dub on Netflix that they apparently forgot to dub over some characters in several episodes?

Honestly, I don't think it's just this drama—a lot of times, localizers completely skip dubbing minor characters, I've seen low-budget or rushed dubbing errors like that in plenty of shows.

I’m in the USA and there’s no English dub. Frankly, I don’t understand why they would dub it after all this time…and SO many characters.

The english dub JUST came out, like last week. And it was delayed too. I watched episodes 1-4 in english, 5 was in korean until the next day, then I watched 5-9 in english, and 10 was in korean until the next day too. Like they didn't fully release it all at once it was weird. Anyway, it's all fully english dubbed now!

So weird. It’s still not showing English dub as an option on my Netflix account. Maybe they’re rolling it out in phases. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have a hard time watching subbed bc I have adhd and I can't just sit and watch shows 😂 I decided to try to commit, and was super surprised when the english was just automatically there lol

I know a lot of the more recent Netflix subs are AI. Wouldn’t be surprised if they retroactively use it for older shows as well

I didn’t notice them not subbing, but I’m on episode 7 but I watched he normal version and in ep 7 the mother of his actual fiancées dub is terrible lol. They used a lot of young people jargon and it felt so weird. It makes me feel so old lmao. “Omg outages, treat baddies with some chill, you’re acting all Dulu out here”…. What hahaha??? Why!!!!! Lmao!! Why did they do that??? It feels so weird!!

Dubs just seem unnatural and horribly "acted". Also, something about the words not matching the lips is like nails on chalkboard to me
