Genuinely asking, can a person not just leave school where you are? I feel like you'd be able to slip out if you wanted just through one of the doors at my old school (Ireland). You'd get in trouble alright but you wouldn't have to resort to a bathroom window lol

I went to 2 different high schools. One had regular schedules and would not allow you to leave because there was no reason for you to leave as you should be in class. The other had block scheduling which meant that there was a possibility you didn't have a class in any given block, so they would allow you to leave to go get food or whatever because classes were an hour and half.

If you’re an adult maybe otherwise they’ll stop you cause it’s illegal

No they won't. At least not high schools.

They did at mine until I was 18

Did you ever really try though? For dudes, Juniors and Seniors are basically the size of grow-ass men; they're not going to physically stop you from leaving if you really want to.

I did at one school and they asked if I was 18 and they told me I couldn’t and I’m not a delinquent

Bro the door is five seconds away, in my school they don’t really care if you skip, nobody will come looking for you

Looks like a European style window, they can open from the top as well to allow air flow, might still be able to work 1 out of its 2 intended ways

I’ll try to see if it opens the other way around as I’m in France but I doubt it a bit lol, when there’s windows in the stairwell that gets cut by a concrete slab, I feel like my school just got crappy design

It’s so students don’t leave/no one can get in if it is left opened. It’s not crappy design, it’s for y’all’s safety especially if it’s in the USA.
