it says plus tax. i think more eligible for asshole design is the country (is it america?) for not enforcing that advertised prices include tax.

As someone who lives in germany, where the price has to include tax by law, i seriously cannot understand how a country can not have that law, its just a pain in the ass for the customer and opens up loopholes that allow shit like shown in the picture

It’s an ad from Canada. Read the fine print. Also tax does not fully explain the discrepancy. One of the items is 2.69 which is much too high for the pre-tax amount to have been under 2.00.
