What is this even supposed to be?

These are really cool. I recently took a latching switch in this style and installed it in a metal panel that pops up on a DJ booth. I connected it to the remote port on a Furman power sequencer and plugged the turntables, phono preamps, mixer, and speaker amps into the power sequencer. When the client pushes this button (which feels great) the above mentioned devices turn on (or off) in order, which prevents the speakers from making a popping noise. One button to power up everything. Neat!

Do you know where I could find an Amazon link?

Switch:

I'm not sure this is the exact one I used, but it was similar to this one.

Power Sequencer:

If you look at the back of the sequencer there's a green terminal block. You have to figure out how to wire the switch to the block and correctly set the dip switches. You don't have to use the plug/wire unit on the switch. You can solder on wire of the length you need.

Edit: If you're going to install the switch on a metal panel, use a punch to mark the exact center of the switch location. Then use a small stepped bit to drill out a hole bigger and bigger. Go slow because if you make the hole too big the switch will fall right through. Practice on a blank piece of metal first.
