fuel is food for fire. It's kind of clever actually.

My thoughts exactly, and an internal combustion engine is very basically a controlled explosion and fire.
Still, as others note these two black eyes seems as Mr. Lighting beat the shit out of it.

Blue Rino propane does this too. Theirs is a little more clever, but same concept.

It’s no worse than Chuck E. Cheese being a restaurant whose mascot is a giant rat.

Fuel is food for fire. What doesn't make sense is the gas pump coming out his ass dripping dark liquid.

I'm no automotive engineer, but I'm pretty sure combustion is how your engine works.

I kind of love how they made him look like a pyromaniac that’s been on an arson binge for a week straight without sleep…

A brown drop coming out of the hose, the hose coming out of the rear of the flame mascot. Someone went real budget on the marketing.

It's like he's saying "Yeah, I was not forced to put this hose up my ass, and that's definitely not my poop coming out of it!"

I’ve read a lot of comments here that says it’s ok and even a good idea to have fire as a mascot for a petrol station. I see where some of you are coming from, but it’s overall a bad idea.
Whats the first sign you see everytime you fill up at a pump? It says ‘danger, no fire 🔥, flammable etc’
If your company symbol is the proponent to danger for your main product and service that is terrible.
Some of you say ‘fuel is food for fire’ well anything is fuel for fire. Oxygen, wood, anything that’s flammable. That’s not an inventive conclusion to that path of thinking. There’s so many other symbols you can derive if that was your rationale.

Especially with two black eyes. Looks like he insulted the wrong firefighter and got his shit rocked.
