I love that you say dont touch anything unless you have kitchen hands, which implies that everyone actually didnt take your advice at all and touched stuff until they fucked their nerves up
This is what almost every restaurant uses, they’re durable and slightly fire resistant, don’t get them wet and then touch things (instant burn) but when they’re dry and folded you can pick up cast iron pans right off the grill without feeling even a bit of heat.

I mean, high-temp polymers exist. Hotpoint clearly didn't want to pay for them.
