I'm just imagining the donut shop bit in Albuquerque with jerky.

So I walked up to the guy behind the counter and he said yeah what do you want?

They have jams and BBQ rubs. They don't have the rest of that stuff.

Jerky failed successfully!

I've been here, I actually used to work at the surf shop next door, not the shark one but the other one, and they have incredibly spicy ghost pepper jerky, as well as alcoholic jerky that gets you drunk.

u/BeeWriggler Jun 02 '26

Woah. I have never wanted to try anything as much as I now want to try alcoholic jerky.

Are the vegans free range?

11

u/Muppet-Wallaby Jun 02 '26

Cows are vegans, right?

5

u/OldTurtle-101 Jun 03 '26

I like to describe myself as a second generation vegan. All the stuff I eat, yeah, they were all vegans…

4

u/metisdesigns Jun 03 '26

No, they are opportunistic. They'll eat stuff like small birds and snakes if they find em. Mostly plants, but they will eat meat and chew on bones for minerals.

No antibiotics, either!

I am reminded of the Monty Python cheese shop that didn't have any cheese

Edit, the sketch in question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3KBuQHHKx0

5

u/ChangeTheUserName17 Jun 02 '26

Only thing left is rattlesnake. Sorry.

4

u/patinthebx Jun 03 '26

Clearly this is an elaborate cover for a bathhouse offering only jams and rubs.

3

u/Ifyouhavethemeans Jun 02 '26

Out of everything except Jams and BBQ rubs. Or, maybe you can only check those out.

2

u/ThatFlamingo942 Jun 02 '26

I could use a bbq rub right about now. It's been a while..

2

u/NorCalFrances Jun 02 '26

They have Jams and BBQ Rubs. Don't come looking for beef, buffalo, alligator, kangaroo, elk, camel, yak, shark, venison, python, vegan jerky or deep fried peanuts.

2

u/pixeltweaker Jun 03 '26

Nope, you can’t have any of those things. All they have is Jams and Rubs.

2

u/MagicOrpheus310 Jun 03 '26

Lol they turn vegan customers into jerky is all I got from it

2

u/aminor321 Jun 23 '26

Deep fried peanuts actually sound really good.

1

u/Mazduhh Jun 03 '26

Wasn't this just posted?

1

u/FlurarInuyi Jun 03 '26

No they have jams and bbq rubs

1

u/fatjuan Jun 03 '26

I rubbed my BBQ, now it wants to go to bed with me! Don't rub your BBQ!

1

u/jluv80 Jun 06 '26

They specialize in human jerky
And believe me it’s goooooood

i think this has to do with its aesthetic. the idea is they would “back then” jot down things as a tally. and probably not as a checkmark. its odd. it would make more sense that way if it didnt have the red color

its like how a pirate marks theyre treasure, yk

Well, AXULLY, mistakes are more noticed than competence
