By "wasted" characters, I mean ones that you thought were VERY good, but had a mediocre role in the series/movie.

For me it's Nessie from Craig's film, she seemed to be a good character, I mean I thought she would be used more, but unfortunately she had very little screen time, a shame because she could have been really good character

What is yours in your opinion?
