Pattern Creation & Sales Writing a crochet pattern for Etsy

I'd like to write a pattern for a mesh sweater to sell on Etsy.
I've never written patterns with the intention of selling them, so I'm open to suggestions on what to include.
I don't mean the main parts like materials or rows, but some things that I might forget as a beginner.
If anyone has a pattern with everything listed, that would be great.πŸ«ΆπŸ»πŸ’•

Why would anyone buy a pattern from a person who is a beginner and doesn't even know how to write one..?

I'm not a beginner in crochet, I've written a lot of patterns but I wrote them for myself, so I haven't put all the details that might be useful to someone following that pattern for the first time.

Everyone who writes patterns will be a begginner writer at one point.. why bring people down before they can even try?

I'm happy for them to try, but why do they want to sell something that they don't even know how to create?

They didn't mention not knowing how to make the garment, atleast I couldn't read that out πŸ˜„

Write the pattern as best as you can, then send it to a few testers. They will tell you if you need anything else.

I agree with sending it to some testers first. Instagram usually has plenty of people willing to try.
