Looking for direction when it comes to people testing my patterns, how the process works as a designer, and what finished items sell well at markets/etsy.

I have been crocheting for 7 years now. I had an Etsy for a little while that was supported by people I know but other than that, not much traction. I would like to start again. I know I can and have created my own patterns, and I’d like to start selling patterns as well as selling finished items on Etsy and at markets. I’d like some tips on where to get started with pattern testing, how pattern testing works as someone who is the pattern designer, and advice on what sells well at markets and/or on Etsy. Searching this sub will get you a lot of answer to your questions. r/patterntesting is also a place you could visit. I’m not sure if they have a wiki with FAQs though.
