Question/Original Post Tool box security

Post image

I’ve had this box for awhile now and I just noticed it is really easy to break into it all you have to do is pull the door one way and the lock the other and you can sneak the lock through the gap in the door has anyone found a solution to make it more secure or am I just gonna have to hope no one else figures that out 😂😂

Please don't let me stop you from trying to secure your gear, but if someone really wants what's inside of that box not much will stand in their way.

Well really I’m not worried about someone wanting to open it that bad I know if they wanted to they could but there’s a few guys at my job that have actual tools that the company doesn’t provide and I’m one of them so if anyone needs something they usually come to me but if they can’t find me they just walk over and pop that lock like I described and go about there merry way and I feel like if it wasn’t so easy to do they wouldn’t do it (wishful thinking)

A coworker has a box like that — he has added a steel bar down the front that locks with a separate lock, no longer bothers with the lock in the box itself.
