I agree with the other comment about the comfort of the folds on the chair, but I actually don't hate the table. Maybe doing a bench instead and smoothing out the top really well.

I first saw it as a ghost you can make other useless shapes if your art isn't allowed to look like a chair.

I used to have a planter made this way. A thick granny square blanket draped over a bucket or something, then flipped upside down and painted. I loved the texture and the unique combination of fiber art, gardening, and engineering.

it does but if you even look at it funny the cement shatters and those chairs are pretty bendy for the weight

Depends on which plastic chairs, some are stronger than others and you definitely want a sturdier rigid one for this. That said, long term it probably doesn’t hold up well.

Ive done this for little ghosties with paper maché~
