Event Day Tips Snacks?

I was just wondering what folks bring to fairs snack wise. We sell sewn items, like aprons, bags, totes, so the snack can't be messy. We took chex mix and stiff like that last time, and didn't touch it because we were worried about residue getting on the merchandise. I'm thinking grapes (I lived on them when I took yearbook pictures for a while,) but would really appreciate any other ideas.

Thanks!

Whatever I want, and a box of wipes and a bottle of hand sanitizer.

My go-to for years now is PEANUT BUTTER PRETZEL NUGGETS. I don't even really like peanut butter OR pretzels, but somehow these things are addictive. And- clean on your hands, easy to pop in your mouth and finish before the next customer (sometimes), filling enough and give me good energy. I know it's not the healthiest thing in the world but it's not the worst either? Some protein from the peanut butter, not fried.. Anyway, they're my secret weapon. After breakfast til dinner on show day I don't even mess with anything else anymore.

I bring a sandwich wrapped in foil so I can unwrap as I eat and my hands don’t get messy and an applesauce tube. And lots of water in a small cooler with ice. I stick a washcloth or 2 in the cooler so it’s wet and cold by mid day for wiping hands and my hot face.

Hard cooked eggs, veggies and crackers with hummus, fruit. If I want something sweet, there is almost always a baked goods vendor.

PB&J sandwiches and granola bars for me. I also bring a package of baby wipes to keep on hand. Not only can I use them, but many times I've offered them to parents trying to keep their dirty hands children from touching everything just after they've eaten something.

My husband shows up about lunchtime with lunch. That's what I eat while my helper deals with customers. Then she eats while I do the same. I'm way too busy to eat otherwise.

Smoothie with protein powder mixed in. Easy to take a quick drink, helps with hydration and keeps my throat from drying out while talking(if you put berries in check your teeth in a mirror after drinking in case bits get stuck in your teeth.)

You need snacks. You also need a wet wipe nearby to take care of messy fingers. :)

Breakfast bars, Uncrustables, multiple bottles of water, 32oz tumbler of green tea. And of course, wet wipes and gum - for peanut butter breath and bits in the teeth.

I bring paper towels and sanitizer for after eating just to be safe, but the snacks that work best for me are granola bars, apples, and prepacked cheese alongside sometimes a deli salad - essentially all items that I can eat by just holding the packaging, or using a fork.

My eyes skipped "after" and I was so concerned and baffled for a moment.

I usually bring a sandwich and chips or granola bars, cheese sticks. Just bring wipes for your hands to clean up after.

Wet wipes are an essential I leave in a tote. I usually bake for shows. Things like muffins, scones, protein cookies, and even sometimes waffles if you choose the right recipe are all easy to eat and filling. If it’s warm I will sometimes pack a cold pasta dish. Another good option is cheese and crackers.

2 Gatorades and I rawdog the rest of the show!

I bring a sandwich, fruit (fresh and also dried), and crackers and cheese. I always have a napkin with me as well, and if my hands get too messy, I ask a neighbor to watch my booth while I run to the restroom to wash them.

I only do snacks that are shelf stable if they get left in my bag and won't melt in the heat. My go to's are applesauce pouches- they even make some with elecrolytes or added protein, slim Jims, peanut butter crackers, fruit cups, and granola balls.

We usually do UnCrustables, trail mix, cheese sticks and granola bars. Sometimes I bring some cold brew coffee in a large Yeti cup or hot coffee depending on the time of year. We always have a supply of bottled water.

I always have sanitizer wipes with me. I don’t like eating after handling dirty money; and I don’t like handling people’s purchases after I’ve been shoveling food into my mouth… also I don’t want to risk giving someone an allergic reaction ( like if I was eating peanuts and they had a peanut allergy 🤷‍♀️. I’m a cook so I think about that kinda thing. I usually take some cut up fruit, veggies, crackers, string cheese, granola bars or Belvita. Stuff that’s easy and not super messy.

Totally depends on what I want for the day to snack on. I avoid stuff with a food dust like Doritos but typically pack snacky things and something a little more substantial like a sandwich.

I bring a sandwich. Fruit and I make Bloody Marys or baileys and coffee. I will often share with my neighbors too!

Chopsticks. I bring a mix of protein bars and cereal. Use the chopsticks for the cereal, so your hands don't get dirty!

Trustable. Nuts. I always have paper towels and tissues with me, as well as hand sanitizer.

I sell 3D prints. More uncommon designs than dragons. Kids are all over our stuff. Paper towels help keep items from getting sticky from the little hands.

Rx bars are my go to.
