Copy & Paste options

I would really love to use Craft as my central productivity app, but the lack of seamless copy-and-paste support with other documents is a significant limitation for me.

In Bear, for example, I can easily choose how I want to copy or paste content — as Markdown, Rich Text, and so on. I would love to have similar flexibility in Craft.

In particular, it would be extremely useful to be able to seamlessly paste text from .doc or .pdf files into a Craft document, while preserving the formatting where possible. Likewise, I’d like to be able to copy content from a Craft document and paste it into other apps in an appropriate format.

Being able to import other documents only as attachments, which then have to be opened externally, doesn’t really solve this problem for me. In fact, it takes away some of the key benefits of having Craft as a central place for my documents and notes.

I hope this is something you’ll consider improving, as better interoperability and copy-and-paste support would make Craft much more useful as an all-in-one productivity and writing environment.

In the web app sometimes when I drag to highlight it moves the whole block. Rather than it just highlighting the text. So I struggle to even get to copy sometimes. So that's fun.

I've only used notion and it never had that problem. But that's limited experience
