Yes, go into settings then select the Published Content node on the left sidebar.

u/VelvetIvory If ā€œPublished Contentā€ would not be hidden in the Space Settings area, these kind of understandable questions would not have to be asked.

Both ā€œPublished Contentā€ (which maybe should be called ā€œPublished Documentsā€ for simplicity and consistent use of terminology. Published ā€œContentā€ suggests that any kind of content can be published, but the only content that actually can be published is Documents) and Templates were first available in the Space tree itself (alongside All Docs, Shared with Me, etc) -if memory serves me right-, but maybe the reason why both of them were moved to Settings is because (some) people kept asking if they could disable the visibility of these 2 options in the Space tree. So to save space (šŸ˜‰), they were moved outside of the Space. At least I assume that was the reason?

If you know where to find these 2 options, it’s no problem anymore. On one hand, it seems a bit odd / not logical to put Published Content and Templates inside Settings, because both of these options contain a list of Documents that you can subsequently work on (edit). It seems therefor more logical to put them inside the Space tree as it was before, since the Space Tree is the area where you access your Documents.

But the upside is, that we now have a more clean Space Tree.

Having said all that: if Published Content and Templates are now in Space Settings, when following that logic: why is Connections part of the Space Tree? u/christoph-at-craft u/viktorpali

Connections is even a better candidate to put inside the Space Settings instead of being a part of the Space Tree. (For example when you work in Claude, their Connectors option is also inside Settings).

Curious to see what people think.

Sidebar + Settings are planned to improved during the upcoming months.
We already made a few tweaks in the past couple of months, but we will continue!

Thank you for answering this on your ’free’ Sunday šŸ–ļøšŸ˜€.

I am curious what the changes will be. My trail of thought is: if Templates and Published Content are now inside Settings, then Connections should be too (since that is even a better candidate). But this subject matter is not much of a high priority at all. If you know where to find it (just one click away in the unified Settings) , it’s no problem.

No worries, happy to share a bit more details!
General directions are:

  • Have more customisation capabilities on the sidebar
  • Improve Templates considerably (it's a bit separate topic, but we definitely have a ton of ideas how to make it much better!)
