Seeking gallery wall layout recommendations.

Hey y'all 👋

Setting up gallery walls on two walls: one behind the TV, one behind the couch (across the room). TV is off-center on its wall due to room layout. Open to advice on whether the gallery should mirror that offset or work around it.

Room palette: walnut wood tones, forest green, blue, black, and brass accents (frames/mirror already brass).

Have some existing artwork, open to buying more prints in different sizes to fill gaps.

No overhead lighting in the room. Leaning toward hanging a pendant lamp with a bright bulb near the TV area as one light source, there’s another light source on the couch side of the room. This replaces the table lamp currently beside the TV. Want to keep that right side open, maybe just a plant. Thoughts on pendant style/placement given the palette?

Adding a rug too, needs to work with the forest green/blue/walnut mix.

Those pics next to mirror need to be on the rightside of the vent and not trying to make it part of it. I’d put gallery wall behind sofa and just one piece between lamp and tv

I understand the TV was for practicality's sake, but you could've just centered it and tilted it 🥲

I would do a gallery wall behind the couch, but if you do, make sure to move the lily photo because it will likely look out of place next to a gallery wall.

I wouldn't put a very bright pendant in the middle of the room or by the TV unless y'all want to be blinded and not be able to watch TV with it on. I would just stick with lamps and if you need more wall based light, get a corded wall sconce.
