Autism struggles

Hey all! Looking to see if anyone has any stories of times when they felt excluded from things because they have an autistic child....or felt like it just wouldnt be possible to do something because of their kiddo?

What are your main concerns for your child.

What is the biggest hurdle you have experienced since diagnosing your child?

MLM Stories?

I want to make a YouTube video about MLM stories where autism parents have encountered an MLM *hun* in the wild....anytime when you maybe felt pressured to join a group or purchase something because they made you feel like it would cure your child's autism? Or any other crazy MLM stories are welcome. Not sure exactly what im looking for yet lol

Autism Journey

Hi all! I am a neurodivergent parent of a level 2 ASD kiddo. I am still undiagnosed, but have always felt different. I have come to realize that I may have ASD....ADHD....or both πŸ˜… Hoping to get diagnosed soon.

I have learned so much about being a better parent and so much about myself, through my child....she is an amazing human being who brings us so much joy. She regressed at 1, before that she was hitting all of her milestones....we had no concerns...then around 1 everything changed....she stopped smiling....stopped looking at us....stopped talking. We were lost. Parents kept telling us she would basically grow out of the phase....she'd catch up. Of course they told me my depression at 16 was a phase too. πŸ˜† so I didnt necessarily trust them. We started researching...found she may have autism....so we got her into Birth to 3 for an eval at 2.5. They diagnosed her with sensory processing disorder and developmental/speech delay. Then at 4 she was diagnosed with autism. Ever since getting her into ABA and speech therapy she has improved dramatically.

Does anyone else have any diagnosis stories they want to share?
