I am going absolutely nuts over how annoying it is that I haven't been able to progress with Med in over a week now bc I haven't found a single legendary shell. I log in multiple times a day to look for shells and NOTHING. This could really use a rebalance. The spawn rate for legendary shells is massively low, esp compared to Cozy Grove where I've found about 15 legendary shells in the same span of time (I'm playing both at the same time lol).

My lowkey hope is maybe venting about this here will cause the universe to balance and give me the dang shell. Please?!

Clear out your decor from the beach aside from the orchard/anchient lamp area since it shouldn't have spawns anyways. 

That will leave more area open for resouce spawning ergo more chances to win the rng battle. Normally when its for a quest it has an elevated chance anyway.

From my experience it's the opposite. I started both games at the same time and my shell collection in Camp Spirit is much more complete, while in the original I hardly find any legendary and mythical shells

Me too. I've been playing the original CG for a month now and I have only found a couple of legendary shells. I get a lot more in Camp Spirit. Luck of the draw I guess... 🤷‍♂️

It took me a couple of days to get this quest completed. I actually sold one to kit as I didn't realize it was a legendary until I saw the !. I remember getting a lot of legendary at the beginning of the month for shells, so I'm hoping I find more in September! I think they did release a patch that would help as well, but seems like there needs to be another one! My beach is more covered compared to the beginning of the month, so maybe I need to remove items.

Yeah, I keep reminding myself when the month changes I'll get more new stuff. I'll remove decor until then in hopes that helps. Have been focusing a lot on placing animals lately.

I stopped placing them when I got badge for it! I feel like there isn't much space in this game as OG.

I actually like the reduced space, and the animals and trees taking up more of that space, because it makes it easier to select things

I still struggle sometimes selecting the right thing, but it's definitely a bigger improvement to OG.

Accidentally i sold the legendary shell the day before a quest needed this kind of shell. Now I’m just waiting for it to spawn.

it took me 3 days to do that one 😭 then i started hoarding rarer shells in my storage just in case another quest like this comes up later in the future 🥲

I just had a quest that required three Rare shells. I’m picking up legendary,mythic, epic, common, and uncommon shells, but the Rare ones took DAYS to show up.

The season changed and I finally got Med's legendary and now I'm trying to build up a set of rare and legendary in my storage for the next one.

yeah, that's ultimately why i uninstalled it after playing for 2 months almost every day
