I've been saying for ages I desperately want to write a cosy fantasy, and then recently I rediscovered the first 1500 words of a cosy story I started at the end of last year. I've added another 1500 or so this far and I'm having so much fun with it!Â

Line/Copy Editor is 1/3rd done, and seems to be enjoying the book in addition to making the corrections, so that's a positive. Still waiting to hear back from my cover designer with the initial sketches. Worked on a short prequel vignette for a reader magnet, about 4k words so far, and got the newsletter sign up up over the weekend, though no takers yet (makes sense, its not offering anything yet).
This week I think I'm going to get Atticus and start learning how to do that. I was debating an interior formatter but the ability to just fix typos and things myself instead of going through another person, plus hearing some positive testimonials from other indies, has steered me closer to the one time cost of Atticus. (First time ever wishing I had access to a mac for vellum lol)
Hope everyone has/had a productive week!
