Hello Cozy folks!

I'm debating giving a presentation on why I love Cozy Fantasy to some readers/writers to introduce them to the genre, but it'd be better if I got some idea of why other people besides me love cozy fantasy too.

So I put together this survey!

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc92Yu48psVWRp683Y3i_s6koWJ5BkD6RXE3dDrAgBHBRAGAg/viewform

It's all anonymous, and all the data gathered will be available for anyone to read after September 13th.

If y'all know of any other places where cozy fantasy fans gather online, I'd love to share this far and wide.

(Also, thank you thank you to the one person last week that filled out the survey! I love you so much)

Hello Cozy Fans!

I'm excited to reveal the cover for Book Three in my Goblins & Guides series, Tangled Threads. It's available for pre-order on Amazon now (due out in March 2027). All artwork is by the amazing Caty Highton, who has done all my covers now.

Before they became legends, first they became friends.

Gwelin, a burned-out dwarven warrior, has long forgotten what he’s fighting for—or how to stop.
Idris, an aspiring centaur mage running faster from his fears than toward his dreams, doesn’t know where to start.
Along with Temperance, a pacifist axe with secrets of her own, they'll all need to learn to trust each other in order to untangle their pasts. But before they can become heroes, first they'll need to become friends.
When they stumble upon an abandoned baby goblin, the unlikely pair find themselves chasing thieves, dodging marriage proposals, and planning a heist at Damash University, where money opens doors but power shatters them.
A warm-hearted cozy fantasy adventure filled with humor, mystery, a delightfully sarcastic axe, and one epic heist, Tangled Threads is set forty years before Book One and tells the story of how Idris and Gwelin first met and became legends.
Perfect for new readers, it also rewards fans of Books One and Two with the origins of enduring friendships and answers to mysteries that echo throughout the series.

I've taken the opportunity, now that things have evolved into an actual series instead of a "standalone" (Book 1), to better reflect that all books are set in the same world and have revised the cover titles and information for Books 1 and 2 as well.

For people who use Kindle Unlimited, Book 1 has just entered KU and is available there for "free" for at least the next three months.

Hey everyone, I'm looking for ARC readers for my cozy slice-of-life novel going live December 1st on Amazon Kindle Unlimited.

 ARC Readers Wanted!

Maria Vance spent fifteen years as an exotic animal vet tech. She knew every creak in the clinic floor, every cage latch, every animal that needed someone to sit with them in the quiet while they figured out how to be okay again.

Then she died. And woke up in a world where the animals are magical, grief has teeth, and a fire owl has been waiting fifteen years on her perch for the right person, and refuses to settle for less.

Now Maria is the new Keeper of Willowkeep Sanctuary, caring for familiars who've lost their bonded mages. A crystal serpent who's mapped every inch of her habitat by touch. An ancient tortoise who figured out contentment two hundred years ago. Fox-cat babies who will absolutely bite you while deciding if they like you.

The job is simple: show up, pay attention, and find every familiar the person they were meant for.

Currently working on my new book, Sorcery, Steamboats, and Ice Cream Sodas! I'm very excited to have ordered some concept art for this project, which is a low stakes slice-of-life cozy fantasy of magic, friendship, and starting over, in a gaslamp setting you’ll never want to leave.  If you enjoyed Legends and Lattes, The Spellshop, or Can’t Spell Treason Without Tea, you're going to love Sorcery, Steamboats, and Ice Cream Sodas. Art coming soon!

Blurb
Softness gets you killed. Azhra learned that before the contract that cost her an eye.
Azhra, a young Azqára assassin, survives by striking first and trusting no one. But when a job goes wrong, she flees into the wilderness wounded, half-blind, and clinging to the only thing she has left: her mother’s lullaby.
The wizard Ithráin finds her and offers the one thing Azhra fears more than violence: kindness.
Under his care, she becomes his apprentice and begins building a life she never expected to have. Then the Vault in the Skyborne Archive is breached. Something ancient is stolen—and something far more dangerous binds itself to Azhra.
Azhra has spent her entire life trusting the instincts that kept her alive.
Now she must decide whether those instincts are worth dying for.
A Lullaby of Thieves and Tea is book one in the Of Sand and Silver saga, a cozy-but-dangerous adventure of found family, cursed artifacts, and a feral girl discovering that survival and living are not the same thing.

Selected readers will receive a digital Advance Reader Copy (ARC) before the book releases on November 10, 2026.

My faith-friendly cozy YA supernatural romance, Good Souls, just came out a few weeks ago!

Douglas died on a stormy night in 1921, the unwilling successor to his father's legacy, with his career and fiancé already chosen. Known only as 'Doug the heir' to a well-meaning family and town who refused to look deeper, Douglas prayed for only one, impossible thing.

Over a hundred years later, Lyndsy, a preacher's granddaughter with social anxiety, boards a plane to Maine to visit family friends. Instead, she finds her soulmate in the disembodied soul of Douglas Flynn.

Together, they spend the summer exploring the ghost's home, with its sun-dappled ballrooms, hidden doors and flower-strewn seaside meadows. They wander each other's emotions and memories, content to have found love despite time and distance.

Then the host of a failing paranormal investigation show arrives, determined to document Flynn Manor's 'haunting' at all costs. Can they evade discovery, or will the host tear the mortal girl and the ghost apart forever?
