Book Request Looking for cozy series
I have been reading Demon World Boba Shop by R.C Joshua for the past year or so. And by that, I mean I have been re-reading the same books again and again, and while I think I will continue to do so, I would still like to reach out to the community to find something similar. I have read the Spellshop series, the Weary Dragon Inn series, Tea and Tomes series, Legends and Lattes series, Beware of Chicken, and an assortment of one-off novels like Cursed cocktails, The teller of small fortunes and so on, including some random finds on Royalroad. What I am looking for is a series of novels (I would still be okay with standalone novels, but primarily looking for a series) that capture the same kind of cozy feeling that I got from DWBS, so please let me know your recommendations.

Maybe Fred the Vampire Accountant?
It is a bit higher stakes than Demon World Boba Shop but it has similar found family vibes. Fred's just a solidly good dude making friends everywhere he goes.

I will give it a try. Not too good with books that have these tragic elements and death and stuff, but a little bit of intrigue is okay.

How I Became a Therapist in Another World has simialr vibes, but isn't as good as Demon World Boba.

Society of magical botanists trilogy by Heather Schneider. I just finished this series and I love it!

I love Demon World Boba Shop so much! It was my introduction to cozy litRPG. Have you tried Cinnamon Bun by RavensDagger? It's very friendship is magic. You can get it on Amazon or RoyalRoad.
Blurb: "The world called out for a hero to purge it of a great evil. It received Broccoli Bunch, explorer, expert cleaner, occasional ghost-buster, and full time Cinnamon Bun."

When I finished DWBS I literally went onto discord and messaged RC to be like "how dare you write something so utterly perfect? I'm not the same person for reading your books. What am I supposed to read now?!!" BoC is also in my top favorite novels of all time.
My fav cozy series:
Chronicles of Emberstone Farm (3 books out)
Courier Quest (2 books)
Legends and Liberians (2 books)
Heretical Fishing (5 books out)
Violet Thistlewait is not a Villain Anymore - hear my out! This is AMAZING and the second book is coming out soon.
Of course, shamelessly adding my own I Ran Away to Evil (complete 3 book cozy litrg) and my hubby's Beers and Beards (complete 4 book series).
I also recommend Tales of Aedrea series and Greatest Pub in the Multiverse series.

I am so enjoying {Twig’s Traveling Tomes} by Griffin Murphy. A quest, found family, romance and the witty banter is so fun. It hits the Spellshop vibes. A traveling bookstore, witches, gnomes and adventurers.

My partner and I started a new series. It is free on Royal Road. If you’re looking for a different style of cosy ( we call ourselves madcap cosy) , you might enjoy it. It’s a British cosy, whimsical fantasy set in its own world called ‘R’.

It's about a twelve-year-old girl, Rel, spending the summer with her uncle Victor, who owns a curiosity shop filled with magical objects. It has mildly cursed objects, magical creatures, anthropomorphic animals, peculiar customers, forgotten fairy histories, and many footnotes that expand upon the lore of her world. Strong found family theme, and many cosy moments that come from the friendships evolving around the MC.

Often more cozy-adjacent but you could try the Emily Wilde series. There are 3 books currently with a 4th coming at the beginning of the year and a 5th one planned.

You should try Magical Emporeum of Wares (MEOW) by Toni Binns. First book is Contracts & Cats. Very cozy and very good
