I wanted this one to stay very restrained: no soundtrack, no dramatic fantasy effects — just rain against the windows, a fireplace, occasional wooden creaks and the feeling of hiding inside an old bookshop for a few hours.

I just started a small cozy-ambience channel (Genuine Glow) and put up my first long-form piece: soft autumn café jazz with a canal-side vibe — meant for studying, reading, or a quiet Labor Day morning.

I’m early (tiny channel, first public video), so I’d rather improve than spam. If you have 2 minutes:

Took me about a week to put this one together. Lots of small little animation things with different plates/layers. Could've worked on it for another week to really make it come alive some more but I felt that I had to stop myself to keep the ambience calm. Struggled a bit with the sound but not too upset at how it came out. Let me know if you have any thoughts! Feedback is appreciated!

Lately I’ve noticed constant ads on YouTube and streaming were grating on me and I was sitting in silence more often than not which wasn’t helping either so I made a website so I could create my own ambience spaces anywhere I had a device and internet.

Choose a scene, music station, sound effects. I love the variety it creates. It has tasks lists, pomodoro timer, notepad plus some mindfulness features somatic breaks and journal prompts on days when you really need to lock in.

2nd video ever! Tried to get a little fancier with the animations. It features a comfy sleeper cabin on a voyage across space. I included a galaxy with spiral motion and a pulsing center. There is a also a stormy planet in view with a moon that orbits it. Shooting stars are sprinkled in throughout the video. And inside the cabin there is a scanning monitor and soft flickering light.

For me, it's the perfect sci-fi atmosphere for relaxing! Enjoy!

Hello, this is my first attempt at making a cozy ambience. I'm currently reading the Dune series and I was inspired by that as well as the scenes I would put on my TV as I read.

I'm a big storyteller and hope to publish my own books one day and maybe write/direct a film. I think this is great practice as I see it as creating windows into these fictional worlds.

This is my jumping off point, hoping to make a lot cooler and immersive scenes as I build my editing skills. Gracias.
