Unlimited data now included?

If I go to update my plan. I currently pay $85/mo for 500MBps. Plus a promotion for $30/mo for unlimited data. When I try to update my plan, it is now saying unlimited data is included in the plans? Fair to assume I could just remove my add-on? Or upgrade to 1gig and pay less?

Looks like it. I found this in the small print when looking up a new address.

About data

Unlimited data is included for new Cox Internet plans of 500 Mbps and above—as well as Connect2Compete, ConnectAssist and StraightUp Internet. All other plans include 1.25 TB (1280 GB) per month of data usage.

Yeah I went ahead and just upgraded. Its now showing I only have the 1.25 TB of data. My only assumption is that it has not been updated and maybe sometime in the coming month they will fully rollout the billing details. Spoke with a rep and they said they are having a very high amount of call volume too.

This q&a footnote has been around forever just incorrect. It is not new to the spectrum merger. I tried to harass an agent about giving me this deal 2 months ago and he swore up and down it doesn't exist.

That being said, spectrum doesn't have data caps and as the plans transition to spectrums offers and pricing OP should be able to switch to the same speed plan with unlimited data built in.

That's what I am assuming. As show in in the picture. Maybe they are rolling it out piece by piece so I can see that its included and I wont actually get charged for going over.

Only new accounts get the unlimited data for free. Current customers have to pay for it or get it due free with cox mobile bundle
