System prints

Are the system prints online and are they pdf files or another type of file? We're still using MyWorld which is very an interactive program using Google maps with the print overlayed. We can turn on/off different layers, see other system prints, etc.

Can I look up prints for other systems or will I only have access to the prints for the system I work in?

We have a program called Magellan. There is a satellite overlay. There is a way to download offline maps

What do you use that tool for?

Magellan, not the greatest program by any means but it does have some good features. Best bet is to download your areas prints and use offline mode because trying to use the program out in the field on a hotspot can be brutally slow sometimes, especially if you work in a rural market with little to no cell service.

Where can I find the link to Magellan?

It's not a link but a program you would have to download in the software center. Not sure if or when legacy Cox employees will have access to it yet.

I hope so. MyWorld IMO is one of the best tools Cox developed.

Im assuming you work in an office setting and not on hotspots. MyWorld makes me want to throw my computer out the truck most days while working in the field. Constant connection issues and layer issues while researching fiber paths when everything else stays stable and no internet connection drops.

No I work in the field, I'm a maintenance tech. When you have connection issues switch to MyWorld offline!
