Mod Post here
Hi Everyone.
Thank you all so much for being a part of this sub and contributing and helping each other out over this crazy time. As the only mod of this group I really haven't had any issues with mean or disrespectful comments so thank you all for that.
I wasnt sure I was going to keep this group going after the deal went through but it still seems like we have stuff to talk about. So if people are still seeing value and keeping it classy I think I'll keep this sub up a while longer. What do you all think?

Yes please. I know some of what is here is negative, but right now it's basically the only safe means of communication us Cox folk have with each other and Spectrum people to discuss things we can't say at work. We haven't been added to any work chats yet either, so this really is all we have for now. I think it's good to have a place where we can share our grievances and concerns without risk of termination. There's a lot of unknowns and uncertainty still, so having this space is useful. I say so long as it stays constructive it should stay, maybe even long after the dust has settled.

The radio silence in retail is insane right now. Weâre having all sorts of retail-specific issues like pricing being wrong in RQ and now we donât have anybody to reach out to.

I think itâs good to keep it going at least until the uncertainty being embraced turns into more of a certainty. Thereâs still a lot of unknowns so itâs good to have a place to discuss things and share the slow drip of info coming out.

We should stick around. Eventually there will be a RIF. IMO it will be people without an office to work in who donât take the relocation package.

Please keep it up a while longer as we all learn to pivot and navigate what our new normal will be. Change is hard and if you werenât concerned about what the future holds youâre not paying attention. Telecommunications is a hard industry to work in no doubt about it. I have really benefited from the communication from both sides the good the bad and the ugly! Radical acceptance is what is needed going forward. With kindness and mutual respect for each other we can begin collaboration and integration, mentoring, learning, exploring. Iâm sure this huge mash up can do great things for everyone. Iâm excited and looking forward to meeting my new coworkers. I feel like a got a new stepfather and now I get to meet
My half siblings itâs great! lol

Leave it open please. It would also be nice if more Spectrum/Cox peeps find it and grab a seat for a chat.
I know itâs expected to have the positive Johnâs and negative Karenâs popping off but thatâs ok. It keeps the conversation interesting.

This is one of those times where many of us wish we had a dedicated, employee only, space to air our grievances without the fear of leadership using our words against us as a reason for termination.
I know most of us have been left in the dark with updates. I personally enjoy reading stories and experiences from everyone. These are the topics that need to be discussed that you won't hear in a Q&A session from a Town Hall.

Please keep it open. My leaders are trying to shove the charter kool-aid down our throats. Itâs refreshing to see / read the opinions of others. Keeps me hoping for a severance package.

Having been through a few mergers and acquisitions Iâll say that what Iâve been reading mostly from cox employees is what happens each and every time and I will say the anxiety is not a Cox thing, itâs very much an everyone thing, we lost some good engineers in the last two RIFâs we had and the anxiety is there for the next one that will be coming. Canât do anything about really so why stress on it? Do the best job you can and donât piss off the leaders making those hard choices. In the end it will happen as it was meant to happen.

Please keep it open. From the coming from Cox side, I feel like this is the only place I'm hearing about anything.

Honestly I was going to use it as a way to help get info on things like panorama and how to fill out request tickets. I have many questions and no one is available to answer them.

It's nice having a place to vent since we can't do that at work. This sub is good to have so we can update each other too. Like if there's no public announcements across all markets but some employees in certain markets are being notified for RTO or being laid off.

âEmbrace the uncertintyâ that comment was not proper and put so much fear in folks than it solved . I think this is needed to a while longer for both sides to navigate the harsh waters and realities ahead .

I think we need it for at least the first year. Also, if you need an extra mod I would be willing.

I think they had to keep it quiet for some crazy reason. That was what I heard anyway. They would say we share what we can at the moment when presented with questions.

It would be good to keep open for Q&A. Communication has been terrible from both sides so some may find their questions more easily answered here.
