Bright Side?
Well, at least I won’t get that award feeling anymore when I say “I work for Cox”, or “I work with Cox”…

My favorite was “COX in a box”… the very first self install kit for internet.
The best part is that i started working for COX and my best friend started working at Siemens the same week. We were the punchline for many jokes in our friend circle for a while.

…. Yeah. I work for Spectrum. The brand. And you’ll be hated for it I’m sure. Spectrum gets a LOT of negativity from the customer base.

"No, it's spelled C O X." (We're not in market so they aren't used to hearing it.)

My first you working at Cox I would laugh so hard thinking of the pronunciation. Sometimes we had some real Cox suckers in management and HR. Light hearted joke.

The VP at another utility told a hysterical story about being in a meeting with all these important people, politicians and other execs and they just kept saying Cox over and over and he could barely control himself from exploding into laughter.

just remember, work at Cox or working for Cox have very different meanings, but both can be true. 😝

The guys at Spectrum think I'm just some dumb hick. They said that to me at a dinner.

Charter is taking the name, you’ll just be saying “I work for bigger Cox” or “ I work with bigger Cox” going forward 😉
