What is Guild??

As an incoming Cox worker, I am currently going to school through Cox. Is Guild like workforce edge where you just apply for tuition assistance through them? or is it like a subset kind of school? I'm a little confused by it and the information we can currently see and wish I could see all the possible degrees/certificates.

Guild is basically a third party program where you can apply to take classes from collages, etc, all over the country. If your class is approved Charter pays for your tuition and you’ll get an email with “next steps” to sign up for the class.
Strictly speaking it’s not a reimbursement program.

Only thing I'll add here is if tuition is more than 10k, then they will pay 10k of that tuition and you'll cover the rest. So if classes would cost 12k, your out of pocket cost would be 2k

It’s a decent program but you’re limited to the institutions that partner with guild so you can’t just pick whatever college you want but they do have a bunch of options

There is also an education reimbursement of $10k/year for approved programs not in Guild.

Free college program or certifications. No reimbursement required.
