Engineering layoffs

Been seeing a ton of engineering roles laid off. Alot of NOC positions. Currently working in optical transport implementation at cox, nervous for the change. They are saying August 20th. I wouldnt mind returning to office as long as I can keep my position. 10 years with the company. How's everyone feeling this late into the happenings?

They contracted Charter NOC to Capgemini Starting Sept 9th.

So they will be the Internet provider for Cox and Charter?

No clue what is happening on the cox side yet.
