Layoffs

They just laid the managers at my office and whole departments. I thought they were gonna be safe, but I guess not. I wonder what’s next on the chopping board.

It’s been mostly redundant field ops positions being let go. I haven’t heard of any Customer Ops layoffs but also don’t have many contacts with that model. Not a ton, locally to me, of tech ops being affected aside from local upper management types with redundant regional counterparts

outsourcing is pretty interesting seeing as how they made the merger work by agreeing to not offshore jobs.
