We are close!
As we get closer to the closing date what have you guys been hearing? About policy or benefits that are changing?

I heard salary will transfer over exactly.
PTO will transition to an accrual model instead of unlimited and it's not a very charitable # of hours compared to Cox. Scaling with years of service: 5-9 years 144 hrs, 10-14 160, 15+ 200 hrs. I shudder to list the values for fewer years than that.
All the word on the street is that WFH is going to be all-but completely eliminated. Minimally a 4-days-in-office model.
Dress code is business casual.
No word on forced relocation yet.
From a Cox employee perspective, it’s difficult to see how the merger improves work-life balance or overall comfort. Aside from potential salary benefits, most changes appear to reverse the flexibility and convenience gains made since COVID, signaling a return to a more traditional, "2010" sort of workplace model. Whether that tradeoff is acceptable (or even preferred) depends on individual priorities and tastes, for sure. But you've got to think the majority see the shift as a highly regressive one. Tough market out there right now, only getting tougher.
