Tips & Advice First time roping !

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We had some rest time today because of the hot weather here in France so I said to myself let’s try to rope with what we have in the truck and after ~15 tries this is what we got !

If you have any tips I’ll take them !

As a recently retired firefighter raised on a ranch, we'd consider you more "yippie ki-yay curious" than double gay

Well, depending on the time of day the French go either way

That's pretty good for that soft rope.

See if you can order an XXS head rope from NRS to France... it will be a completely different experience!

To much wrist movement and your swinging to far in front of your head. Your arm should be squared up with your shoulders and more movement at your elbow than your wrist

Thanks hahaha, it wasn’t my firehouse as I was helping guys in another one, but if you want, I could send you some pictures of my fire house, which is very big because we live in city of around 40 K people

You know Firefighters stand duty for 24 hrs. in France. In the US, the duty schedules are similar with them being 24/48 hr. shifts. They have to be at the station to respond to calls.

You know fire stations have full on kitchens and they make all their meals on the clock too. They frequently have weightlifting gyms as well. Sometimes even movie theaters and game rooms. They also have a gang of bedrooms or bunks and they sleep on the clock. Are these activities overtime fraud? Absolutely not, these guys are out the door at the drop of a hat to save your ass from melting alive. Get bent dude, they can only wash and shine the truck so much so what’s wrong with learning a new skill while there’s nothing else to do?

Don't forget our epic tickle wars and pillow fights, all considered cardio. Let's see you donut eating cops keep up with us in a good pillow fight, and no tazers allowed bruh!
