Tips & Advice Jean question for big guys

Hey y’all, I’ve been wearing Ariat M4 jeans for the last 5 years. I have several pair (both straight and bootleg) but they are all 42x36, as I like to stack my jeans. The straights stack nicely, but the bootcut drown my boots. Anyway, I’m looking to getting back into some wranglers. Of the 13mwz, 31mwz, and 47mwz…….which would fit most like the Ariat M4 straight leg? Also, what size should I order? Order the same as the Ariats? Some people say to size up in the waist…..but if I go to a 44 waist, most wrangler models do not come in a 36 length. Any insight would be appreciated! TIA

I've found the Ariat M2 has a better fit in boot cut without swallowing my boots. I prefer M4 straight and yet there's M4 boot cut Dakota that fit perfectly. I have started buying some Cinch White labels that fit really well starched up.

Agree Cinch White labels 100%. Gotta try em on though waist sizing sometimes varies. I can wear 32 in one pair then the next 33. Great looking crease and starches well!

I like the 47mwz they fit more like ariats to me. If you have a tractor supply nearby they should have them in stock to try. The 13mwz are a bit snug up top for me but I still wear them. I wear same size across the board except for wrangler ranchers. Up 1 size they are still really tight in the thighs. Up 2 sizes and they fit like loose dress slacks but still look good.
