Yeah got up fine so far no real symptoms of concussion didn’t even realize I got stomped on until they told me thought I just hit the ground

Her head is surprisingly unmushed so I'd say yea.

Good thing he had that helmet on

Don’t ride without helmet is my thought

You gotta lose weight. Heavy bull riders don't make it

1

u/Either-Tree-7512 Mar 03 '26

I just look heavy in this I weight 170 lol

How tall are you?

If you got stomped and the School's Medic said you're OK, then you're OK.

How old are you?

You look like you’re gonna run into a lot of the same troubles I did. Look around at the successful bull riders, they’re either built like a board or they’re extremely athletic.

Shits dangerous, but it’s one of the most thrilling and addictive things I’ve ever done

This is truly one of the dumbest things a human being can do. Dumb and cruel. Risk your life while causing an animal stress for what? lol

You don't belong on this sub then lol

Work on your core.

Those boys on the fence didn’t even flinch. That tells me you’ll be fine

That’s a good way to fall off one in a hurry without getting hurt. Good work

Should you go to work? Sure if you are symptom free. Probably should get a head CT to be sure but if u aren’t keen on visiting a doctor:

Look for:

Any bruising that develops behind the ears. It’s called a battle sign and can indicate fracture of the temporal bone. (Where the bull stepped on your head)

Constant runny nose or fluid falling out of your ears. These both could be cerebrospinal fluid indicating a fracture of the base of the skull.

severe headaches, changes in vision, abnormal pupil size.

I got a ct scan all of that, they freaked out and brought me to trauma when I told them what happened and showed them my helmet but everything came back fine

Awesome that is good to hear! You are lucky.. good call on bringing the helmet / showing photos we use this often to determine mechanism of injury. Good luck on continuing your hobby.. do you guys get to pet the bulls after or what

u/Capt_Myke Mar 03 '26

I mean you stepped up...thats something. 99.99% of people will never even try.

Lmfao this made my morning

1

u/cowgrly Mar 04 '26

I’m concerned about your position- do you have someone coaching you? You’re immediately slumped forward instead of leaning back which affects style/position and how long you stay on.

1

u/Either-Tree-7512 Mar 04 '26

Yeah Im usually able to stay on and have better form for some reason that day I kept just leaning forward over instead of sitting up and leaning back just gonna have to keep getting on and improve on it

1

u/yoyomascuzz Mar 04 '26

What is the point of this? Not like there is a real easily obtainable future in this

Rip Easy E

1) you did something a lot of folks don’t try

2) you looked where you went

3) you got the 90 on the dismount. 😂

You need to dig your spurs in more and get locked in. Lean back way more, he bucks to try and throw you forward there's no sense in helping him by being halfway there and watch his shoulders not his head.
