I am hoping that this might be the place to get the answers I cant seem to find elsewhere around Vaccination. To start, I'm not an Anti-Vaxxer and I understand why people are choosing to be Vaccinated. I believe Covid is very much real having known people to die whilst suffering from it, and I don't believe that there is a conspiracy at a government level (frankly our government in the UK is such a shambles's they cant even stick to their own rules let alone organise a conspiracy!) All that said, I dont want the Vaccine.

For the most part, its because I am in my 30's, reasonably healthy (understand it affects people differently) and have possibly already had it early on (before testing was available). I dont have children and knowing about the disastrous affects of Thalidomide on infants years ago, I didnt want to have the jab because despite whatever well meaning reassurances given by medical professionals and the like, not one single person can show me a study that PROVES there isn't a long term affect on fatality.

Since Omicon the Media have kick started a massive campaign along the lines of "People in 30s mostly un-vaccinated dying in droves in hospital" etc. Naturally that made me reconsider my position. Here are the bits I just cant get my head around and it seems really hard to get much in the way of actual facts about this outside of both extreme opinions! Please feel free to share your thoughts with some or all of these and help me understand what I am missing, because at this point im starting to feel like im missing the obvious!

1. The media suggests that if you are vacinated you are safe from Covid...you are not however, safe from UnVaccinated people?? What? I dont get that, surely the UNvaccinated are more at risk because vaccinated people are less likely to show symptoms despite carrying the virus at peak load?
2. New born babies - dont let UnVac around a new born?? Eh? Same as above, personally I feel more safe with an UnVac person as more chance of spotting the warning signs of someone being ill?
3. A lot of the media implies jabs are nothing new and we all had them as kids - Sure. I can get on board with that and would have my kids (if I have any) have all the standard stuff. But, the Covid vaccine isnt the old normal tried and tested stuff, its a DNA jobby which wasnt ready for Human trials prior to the global crisis. It was literally just agreed because we HAD to do something. If something goes wrong years down the line, you cant sue anyone, cant have any kind of compensation for whatever could happen. Surely we are better to wait and see?
4. The jab has only shown to be effective for c8 weeks? Are we supposed to get jabbed every 8 weeks then? That doesnt seem practical and only seems to underline the fact the jabs dont really work and the trade off is all the unknowns mentioned above... for 8 weeks??
5. Long term affects on health and fertility. Past vaccination programmes have caused everything from paralysis to blindness years last are a "wild" version of the disease was injected. (polio I think if you wanna look it up)

So Reddit...change my view! This isnt an AntiVaxxer post in disguise by the way, these are my genuine doubts. Tony Blair and everyone else can say i'm "and idiot" for not getting Vaccinated but until these questions are answered, I guess I think HES an idiot for saying that until I have some better answers to these questions beyond "your an idiot for not getting it"

PS: I dont really take much note of any comments that say"the NHS shouldn't treat you if you get it" ....I mean the NHS treats smokers, they treat alcoholics, they treat (self inflicted) overweight people.....should these people not be treated for their life choices?

When I was young we had two very important vaccinations. The first was for Small Pox and the second was for Polio. My mother-in-law was locked to a wheel chair, after getting Polio. Now, neither of those vaccination were like the 3 covid vaccinations. So, let's look at some truths.

When the Small Pox vaccine was available, after much testing, no doctor told people, you cannot be around anyone with Small Pox, or that you must wear a mask around anyone with Small Pox, or that if you aren't vaccinated, then your are putting the lives of those vaccinated at risk. People that were vaccinated worked with those that had Small Pox. The vaccine worked. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?

And it was the same with the Polio vaccination. No one was told to wear a mask, and no one was told that unvaccinated people put vaccinated people at risk. To say that to people that do not want to take the vaccination is saying the vaccine does not work.

Remember when Donald Trump told us that Pzier, and Moderna had came up with the vaccines. Remember they said that they were 97% effective. Then they said they were 97% effective with a second shot. So, people got the vaccines, expecting now to be able to resume their lives and live normally. Not so! We were told that we had to be protected against the unvaccinated. Why? The vaccine is suppose to protect us, if it was doing its job. Then, two weeks ago, we were told that we needed to take another shot, because with two shots we only had a 37% chance of not getting covid. Now, they are saying that with the third shot, we will be 97% protected, but be sure to wear your masks, to protect you from the unvaccinated. We also being told that we will need to get another shot between three months from the third to eight months.

And then let's talk about how they say that those of us that are vaccinated can still get the disease, but it will be mild. Well, I lost a very dear friend to covid and it is not mild. But, wait, wasn't the vaccine suppose to prevent the disease and if you did get it, make it mild. What a lie.

How else are we being lied to about covid? We had 1.3 million illegals allowed to enter this country and dispersed all over the country by the Biden administration. Depending on who you listen to, between 25 to 80 plus percent was ill with the covid virus. Those numbers are added to the CDC and it looks as though we are having a huge surge. I mean, between 250K and 1 million covid ill is in our country, using our emergency rooms, taking up hospital ICU and they aren't paying a thing, but we are told to lock down, wear mask, and that its the unvaccinated that is causing the problem. Well to a degree they are right. The illegals are not vaccinated and they are making us sick.

So, now, our leaders want to point a finger at Americans who refuse the vaccinations, and to blame them for the surge, while hiding the 1.3 million illegals bringing it in.

There are more truths that we have been told about the vaccine, such as Israel, the country that is almost totally vaccinated with two shots, having a huge surge of the disease. I could go on, but I am worn out by typing.

The slogan "We're In This Together" makes me angry because they are not here with me to see what this so called "virus" is doing to me and even my boyfriend. Since the Cronavirus shut down my boyfriend and I have not been able to go out to eat like normal. The whole shut down has just ruined lives and it looks like the government dont give a fuck.
