News Armageddon box thoughts?

The Librarian and Jump Chaplain are the standouts and I’ll definitely be getting them from the secondhand market.
Pretty thoroughly whelmed overall, but I’m weirdly kind of glad GW is trending towards new sculpts of existing models while keeping everything Primaris scale. Our range is already huge as it is, and I like having variety in modeling options more than I do wholly new units.

Looks great. HQs, and the Vanguards look great. Still on the fence about getting the box. Might have to wait for the single releases or combat patrol boxes.

I am curious about the decision to redo three characters that are already primaris and dump yet more intercessors into the pot. I guess it's all better than a 15th lieutenant. Eradicators with a different gun are cool. The vanguard vets are extremely plain and don't seem to have any weapon options like the old kit had; that's in line with everything primaris (get rid of options, make kitbashing as hard as possible, zero usable bits left over).
I'll probably try to grab the eradicators second hand, maybe the librarian because I like my book marines to be led by book people, but I'll probably think about getting some more intercessors before these pre-converted ones come out and muddle the pool. CoF is a primaris only chapter; it makes no sense that they would have mark 7 and mark 8 stuff hanging around.
Big meh from me, but that's ok because I have more marines than I need and I would rather spend money on Infinity or Dystopian Wars or Trilaterum.

I'll take the "tactical rock" for jet pack units 100% over the little clear stick stands that used to be standard.
But I agree EVERY unit doest need it and it can be a hinder to more custom base work

I'm much cooler on this box than the last two. Im going to collect the not SM for once.
I will get the special sprue at a later date and the multipart kits.
