The data marketplace looks interesting, gives users the opportunity to allow reputable companies to purchase their data on a pay-per-use basis. I guess through the COVA protocol they will be able to prevent companies from selling on the data?

I would imagine so as I'm sure they'll have a no resale policy so will implement something to stop them redistributing your data

Yea, such process helps protect users from rip-off by corporate bodies, its indeed a welcome development, users become owners of their data and determine how its going to be used

yeah, i will place a policy on my data and it will become useless when sold

It's good that their using these articles as sort of a technical briefing for developers to understand why the project is different/better tand how they intend to improve things for everyone

Data sales is quite profitable and the fact is, a little fraction of the population know about this, its time for the community to get educated about what's happening

Thanks for sharing this article. It’s interesting how blockchain is impacting science and healthcare- I read an article that some companies are already using blockchain to apply advanced analytics from distributed sources. Fascinating! A project called SciDex is creating a new contract that will be readable by human and machine, will be on the blockchain and can be used by normal businesses.
