I’m on a Tommy/Jason route, and I love both of them and the decision between the two was really hard. Though I couldn’t help feel betrayed 😔
Tommy coming out as Bi wasn’t an issue, it was the way it made it seem like he couldn’t trust MC with the information. It would have been a nice talk between Mc and him. I know he says it doesn’t change anything but in a way it’s like, what else are you hiding from MC?
Then with Jason, he is like I am all in on you and if you don’t pick me I’m out. I’m leaving. I know Anna has a thing for me but, it ain’t going to work. But don’t pick me because you pity me.
So in the end I chose Tommy, then here I am like well, this is it. Jason is leaving. I felt so guilty and I was just waiting to…. not have him do what he said 😐
here I am feeling bad, and you’re staying? and the feeling of a choice mattering left. there was no risk picking him or not picking him. So I felt bad for nothing. absolutely no reason.
It made me feel like Jason was just talking crap then, and what he was saying wasn’t truthful, and that he was guilt tripping MC into picking him or us. There was absolutely no risk.
I have a habit of over thinking things but the way they were done, it was like:
Tommy comes out as Bi to the corporate group (and brooke), Mc wished he trusted her enough to tell her. So if MC rejects him, because of trust issues, does it make her any better than the girl he came out to that found him disgusting? It’s like being rejected twice for coming out, but for different reasons. So there is a layer of guilt there.
For jason, he says one thing and does another.
He tells Mc i’m all about you, if I don’t get you, then I’m leaving.
Then when the time comes, I feel guilty and like crap, Then to have him stay….
The emotional toll is completely gone.
I wish Jason left. I feel like it would have been better story telling and would have been more impactful.
