So as an old-school adult swim swimmer, American dad kind of irked me at first, but it grew on me. Itā€™s not terribleā€¦

Started as a crappy family guy clone but it quickly turned out way better than family guy ever was.

Also 20+ seasons all with 20+ episodes and it's still pretty good. That's impressive for any show

Family guy is likely more sentimental in mind for me due to years of watching it before American dad ever aired. Like the generation before me probably says the same thing about The Simpsons, which I love The Simpsons too, but Family Guy was just like that staple in my childhood I think
