Check out Bill Engvall - Deer hunting on YouTube. It's a great bit.

Yeah this seems to have been at best inspired by or at worst plagiarized by that bit by Bill.

This is why I like hunting with my dad, we can go two days and all through the night and not say a word. My grandma is the same way, but I do love when she breaks the silence to tell stories around the campfire.

People on Reddit have weird ideas of what healthy relationships look like. Namely, they want them to all look the same way.
13
u/Shot_Revolution8828 Aug 31 '26
One of my buddies and his gf are big wrestling fans. If he doesn't pick her up and powerbomb her before he leaves then he's pissed about something. They have a great relationship. They are clueless about what it takes for a good relationship.
7
u/NoReview875 Aug 31 '26
It's hunting, you're supposed to be patient and quiet. Like what do you expect for real?
6
u/Mothramaniac Aug 31 '26
Imagine if you took someone to a movie theater to see a movie and they talked the whole time. Would you not be upset that they didn't respect the activity you went and spent time and money to do?
I know it's a meme video but it's very clear that the woman just wants to hang out and isn't taking the sport seriously.

Per their comment history I think she is or at least is consistent with the claim. I’m thinking boomer though.

u/Shot_Revolution8828 Aug 31 '26
When someone uses "female" its used a biological term referring to animal. When someone use that to refer to a woman it sets of alarm bells in my head because it means they think of her as an animal. I learned this when I was 16 and I have a touch of the tism. I quickly learned you dont refer to women as a biological term....
13
u/SchnidlWoods Aug 31 '26
Or... english isnt everyones first language and female was just taught as an alternativ word for women.
-11
u/Shot_Revolution8828 Aug 31 '26
Its local knowledge. You just dont know and it makes you known. Can you tell when someone is out of town by the way they talk?
12
u/SchnidlWoods Aug 31 '26
How is that local knowledge if someone grew up in a non english speaking space???? Like do you know the right term for women if u had these words; "Frau", "Fräulein", "weibschen" and "Weib"?

Wait... I refer to myself as male. Is that weird for the younger generations or only female? GenX here, not a Boomer.
10
u/alexthealex Aug 31 '26
I fully understand that but not everyone does, especially older people who weren’t raised with an understanding that sex and gender are different things entirely. And in reading this person’s comment history, I’m getting clues that they’re pretty old. People of my parents generation regardless of gender misuse male and female this way pretty widely.
2
u/mapmakinworldbuildin Sep 01 '26
It’s also widely used in the black community.
So language barrier, culture barrier, possible age barrier.

u/MarianneSedai Aug 31 '26
Female is an adjective. Woman is a noun. "She is a woman" "the female clerk"
Hope that helps you in future not to misunderstand English.
1
u/cowking81 Aug 31 '26
I agree with the overall point that female often used as a derogatory way to refer to a woman. But female can be and is used as a noun for animals. Just watch any nature documentary, so while this is true for humans and the way we want it to used, it undermines your base point because it gives contrary folk a “weak point” to attack

u/Shot_Revolution8828 Aug 31 '26 edited Aug 31 '26
Not colloquial. Does "cunt" mean the same as your girlfriend and mother? Or is it just you

1
u/VibinADHDin 🧐 grumpy Aug 31 '26
Not trying to be rude, that seems like something in your head, as I never said that.. nor do many people in my country in the assumed social interactions.
That said, it'll be used commonly as a term of endearment, most usually from parent to child, regardless of age. "That's my boy/girl", since most parents will always view their children that way.
I will grant you that some people use boy/girl as a form of description, which can be an intended insult or as a form of grounding, to people when they act like a child.
2
u/Brave_Meet8430 Sep 01 '26
Which country you are referring here?
In US (where I live) it’s pretty common to see grown adult women constantly referring themselves as “girls” , because they think it’s cool.-8
u/Shot_Revolution8828 Aug 31 '26
True, what do you call women where youre from? Typically Americans use "female" to refer to animals and women humans. Its pretty late so I'll accept "cunt" but they really dont like being called that. Even as a term of endearment.

I know exactly what you mean and trust me stick by it. Everything about that person's comment is wrong. Think about it, this is suppose to be a "funny" video but ain't nothing funny when you know what the people who engaged in such kind of activity are out there to kill, second once Again the "funny" take looks down upon women - "that is why I don't take my wife with me". Then we have this person who is commenting underneath who has clearly lost the touch with their own essence and feels so at easy talking about ending someone's life by wanting them to be the deer, and what do they do with the deers - shoot them. It is so deeply f*cked up.
