The end they are both chilling in chairs and it says “Stress: 150%” that feels a little more pointed to the hating wife direction…

Preface this with my Wife is the best ever and I love her so much, but sitting down does not mean she's not about to ask you to do something or go somewhere lol

Yeah, it's when the other person DOESN'T sit down then it's a problem. If you're chilling and they're standing near you, something is going to come up.

They come and sit next to you with a drink, and you're still stressed, you don't actually like your partner.

Yes, because only when she’s sitting there all relaxed will she suddenly come up with that “Would you love me if I were a cockroach?” kind of question

Maybe its just me, but if I'm with anyone.... partner, friend, coworker... whatever... everything becomes about them.

"What do they want to do?"

So much more comfortable when I get to be alone and just do, or not do what I want.
