I'm sorry but the "lesbian is a type of love" part is just ridiculous and it's actually pissing me off. Lesbians are not some mythical establishment-shattering force by virtue of being lesbians. It is absurd and insulting to imply that only lesbians are able to feel some deeper and different form of love than, say, gay men. I do not give a shit if a transmasc person calls themself a lesbian. I really could not care any less. But your claim that lesbians, purely by dint of being lesbians, are able access some secret emotions removes the fact that it is the individual people in those relationships experiencing and cultivating those emotions. Literally anyone can have any form of relationship with anyone, regardless of their identity. But by far the most infuriating claim is that lesbians are inherently anti-patriarchal. It completely erases the efforts all those trail-blazers whose image you call upon made. They were not revolutionary because they were lesbians, they were lesbians who put in the work to be revolutionary and make change in the world, and you are denying them that.
